The qualifying season officially began this past February with Kelly Clark, Shaun White, Jamie Anderson, and Red Gerard topping the podiums in the respective orders of slopestyle and pipe, at the Grand Mammoth Pix. As the primary official 2018 Winter Olympic qualifying event spans the January 2017 to January 2018 allotment, there are three events left for the riders to make their marks.

Aside from events, the advertisements surrounding the 2018 Winter Olympics are beginning to appear and this one, in particular, grabbed our attention. The ad features a past America’s Got Talent challenger, Yu Ho-Jin, snowboarding through a crowded city without snow.

Athletes, including Hailey Langland, Judd Henkes, Kyle Mac, Shaun White, and Jamie Anderson will fight for up to twenty-six sports across the big air and slopestyle, snowboardcross, halfpipe, and giant slalom events this forthcoming season. With more information and Olympic guesses as we draw nearer to the beginning of the chill games in February, here are some proposed locations and dates for the forthcoming qualifying events.
